In the process of researching for a presentation on the temptations of Jesus (it's never a good sign when your research leads you to YouTube, is it?), a friend of mine stumbled upon this dramatic adaptation of the familiar narrative from Matthew's Gospel. The home movie was made by a couple of teenagers, and it's strange, awkward and funny in roughly equal measure. Perhaps I have a soft spot for it on account of my previous life as an amateur film-maker alongside friends from church, but I think it's genius.
